Our Occupational Therapy Services
What is Occupational Therapy?
Occupational Therapy helps people participate in the things they want and need to do through the therapeutic use of everyday activities (occupations). Common Occupational Therapy interventions include helping children with disabilities to participate fully in school and social situations, helping people recovering from injury to regain skills, and providing support for older adults experiencing physical and cognitive changes.
Our Occupational Therapy Approach
Our Occupational Therapist empower you to enhance daily living skills and participate more fully in life. Services include:
- Early childhood therapy interventions targeting areas such as gross motor skills, fine motor skills, social skills, emotional regulation and sensory processing
- Assistive technology and home modification recommendations
- Community participation
- Daily living skills
- Goal setting and capacity building
Early Childhood Intervention
Our ongoing therapy services help children build the skills, confidence, and independence needed to participate successfully at home, school, and in the community.
Using a personalised and evidence-based approach, our Occupational Therapist work closely with children, families, and educators to support meaningful progress towards individual goals. We focus on building on each child's strengths while developing skills in areas such as self-care, emotional regulation, sensory processing, social skills, play, motor development, and school participation.
By empowering children and those around them, we help create lasting outcomes and support every child to reach their full potential.
Functional Capacity Assessments
A Functional Capacity Assessment (FCA) helps identify a participant’s strengths, support needs, and everyday functioning. It can be used for NDIS access requests, plan reviews, changes in circumstances, or to support funding decisions.
Our comprehensive assessment looks at physical, cognitive, social, and emotional functioning to understand how a participant manages daily activities. We provide clear recommendations for supports and services that can help build independence and work towards achieving NDIS goals.
Assistive Technology Assessments & Prescriptions
Assistive Technology (AT) plays an important role in helping NDIS participants improve their independence, safety, and participation in everyday activities at home and in the community.
Our Occupational Therapist assess your needs and recommend equipment that supports your daily activities, mobility, and NDIS goals.
We Can Assist With:
- Low, mid, and high-cost assistive technology
- Beds and pressure care equipment
- Shower commodes and bathroom equipment
- Daily living and independence aids
We work with you to find the right equipment to improve your independence, safety, and quality of life.

Daily Living Skills
Daily living skills are the everyday tasks that help people live independently and participate in their home and community. These skills can include personal care, preparing meals, managing household tasks, following routines, accessing the community, and looking after personal wellbeing.
Our Occupational Therapist work with participants to develop, improve, and maintain these essential skills through personalised and practical support. We focus on building confidence, independence, and participation by providing tailored strategies, skill development, environmental modifications, and recommendations for assistive technology where needed.
Our goal is to help participants achieve greater independence and successfully engage in the activities that are important to them.
Community Participation
Our Occupational Therapist support NDIS participants to build the skills, confidence, and independence needed to actively participate in their community.
We help individuals engage in social activities, recreational programs, volunteering, education, and employment opportunities by developing practical strategies, improving independence, and overcoming barriers to participation.
Our goal is to empower participants to connect with their community, pursue their interests, and achieve the goals that matter most to them.
